APPOINTS SHERIE NG AS MARKETING VICE PRESIDENT
/Business News Articles/ - Bangalore, India, July 02, 2008 - Invensys Process Systems (IPS), a global technology, software and consulting firm, today announced that it has appointed industry veteran Sherie Ng as Marketing Vice President for the Asia Pacific region.
In her new role, Ng's responsibility will span the entire marketing field, including strategic planning, research and intelligence, marketing and business development strategies, communications programs, demand generation (business and market development), solutions marketing and media and analyst relations across Asia Pacific. With the appointment, Ng will be a key member of IPS' senior management team in Asia Pacific, as well as member of IPS' Global Senior Leadership Team. She will also represent IPS as a spokesperson with media, trade associations, customers and analyst, as well as in trade forums.
"Sherie has an impressive track record of successful global brand transformation and growing regional businesses across various technology verticals. Her vast experience demonstrated through previous senior leadership and regional marketing roles positions her as an invaluable asset and a key driver of IPS' growth and expansion in Asia," said Lawrence Wee, President, IPS Asia Pacific.
Prior to IPS, Ng was responsible for regional brand leadership and business development at Comverse, Asia Pacific as Vice President, Marketing. Before that, as SingTel's Director, Brand Experience, she led major branding campaigns, including strategic sponsorship activities around F1 Racing. She also held senior regional leadership positions in marketing for technology heavyweights CSG Systems and Lucent.
Ng holds a bachelor's degree in Business (Specializing in Marketing) from Nanyang Technological University - Nanyang Business School.
