Gwenevera Elaine Burks is the recipient of a master of education in administration

FRESNO, CA, September 2, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gwenevera Elaine Burks, Executive Assistant to the vice president of university advancement at California State University, Fresno, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in organization development and finance management.

At California State University, Fresno, Ms. Burks is responsible for assisting the vice president of university advancement. She assists with the fundraising for the Fresno State campus and helps to manage university projects. Additionally, Ms. Burks works with the director of development for the school's Lyles College of Engineering. With 15 years of professional experience, she attributes her success to her faith in God.

The recipient of a Master of Education in Administration, Ms. Burks graduated from California State University, Fresno with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of her alma mater's alumni association and Phi Kappa Phi. Ms. Burks also serves as the finance secretary on the board of trustees for the Mount Olive Baptist Church. In the future, she hopes to become an administration manager.
