Reverend Mark Emde Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Reverend Mark Emde served as a missionary for The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada

SASKATOON, SK, CANADA, September 2, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Reverend Mark Emde, President of Horizon College and Seminary, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administration.

At Horizon College and Seminary, Reverend Emde oversees the college and seminary, trains leaders for the pastoral ministry, preaches and teaches. An expert in public relations, he has 30 years of experience in his field. He attributes his success to his tenacity, education, leadership skills and life experiences as a missionary.

In 1985, Reverend Emde relocated to Bangkok, Thailand, where he and his wife served as missionaries for The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Together, they helped establish three churches and taught at the Thailand Pentecostal Bible College. Reverend Emde also served as the organization's field director in Thailand and eventually, as the Indo-Asia regional coordinator. He later served in relief and development with Canadian Food for the Hungry, the Global Aid Network and Emergency Relief and Development Overseas.

In 2010, Reverend Emde received a Master's Degree in Leadership and the Management of Charities and Non-Governmental Organizations from Briercrest College and Seminary. An ordained Pentecostal minister, he is a member of Christian Higher Education Canada, the Assembly for Biblical Education and the Lawson Heights Pentecostal Assembly.

Affiliated with the University of Saskatchewan, Horizon College & Seminary is a postsecondary theological college, evangelical in orientation.
