Christina Heiner Named a VIP Member of Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Pharmacy Management

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, January 12, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christina Heiner, Pharmacy Director of RegenceRx, has been named a VIP Member by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

As a pharmacy director of RegenceRx, a position that she has held for seven years, Ms. Heiner specializes in multidisciplinary team project management and operations management. She is responsible for negotiating contracts, establishing policies and procedures, handling legal and regulatory compliance, contract reviews and approval, and coordinating legal and regulatory issues between pharmacy management and corporate legal regulatory advisers. Ms. Heiner has extensive multimedia presentation experience. She has had the drive and opportunity to be successful in many diverse areas during her career in pharmacy management. She attributes her success to her attention to detail and desire to see her team excel. She consistently strives for process improvement and seeks new and challenging opportunities. She became involved in her profession because she wanted to provide affordable health care to consumers.

Ms. Heiner earned an MBA in Health Care Administration from Westminster College in 1996, having received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1985. She is a licensed pharmacist and a graduate of the IHC Clinical Quality Improvement Facilitator Course, the FHP Medical Center Administrator Course, and the Middle Management Program at the University of California, Irvine. She is the president-elect of the Utah Chapter of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, and a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. In years to come, Ms. Heiner intends to remain active in the pharmaceutical management industry. Her goal is to contribute to the health of consumers and patients by providing education on prescription medication options.
