Colleen Hair promotes health and wellness as a Doctor of Pharmacy

PITTSBURGH, PA, January 23, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Colleen R. Hair, Pharmacist for Rite Aid Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pharmaceuticals.

Driven by a passion for science and health care, Dr. Hair has spent the past three years working as a pharmacist for Rite Aid Corporation. She specializes in pharmaceutics, which enables her to effectively and efficiently dispense medication, check prescriptions and conduct research. Additionally, she is responsible for communicating with doctors and consulting.

Dr. Hair holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University. Currently, she is studying solid state chemistry through academic research in pursuit of a Ph.D. She keeps abreast of her field by being an active member of the American Pharmacists Association and American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. As her career progresses, Dr. Hair hopes to attain a Ph.D. and have the opportunity to teach at a university.
