ST. JOHN'S, NL, CANADA, February 3, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brenda Kelleher-Flight, President of GDP Consulting Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of board governance.

Dr. Kelleher-Flight has worked for or with boards and board members throughout her entire career. With a doctoral degree based on her own research with corporate boards, she retired from her last position and started her own company six years ago. As president, she deals with clients, delivers workshops, performs one-on-one coaching with chief executive officers or board chairs, and proctors with other companies for proposals.

Prior to serving as the president of GDP Consulting Inc., Dr. Kelleher-Flight was the director of an accountability office which honed accountable methods of stategic planning and report writing, has worked in various consulting and administrative capacities in education, and a coordinator for the model of service for children and youth for four departments of government from 1989 to 2000 which focused on team development and elimination of duplicate services.

Ms. Kelleher-Flight earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Windsor, an M.Ed. in Administration from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, an M.Ed. in Special Education from St. Michael's College, and a Ph.D. from the University of South Australia (board governance).

She is a member of ADR Atlantic Institute, NLOWE, St. John's Board of Trade, and several consultant and board groups such as the Association for Strategic Planning, BUSINESS without BORDERS, Canada Boards & Advisors, Boards For Good, CONSULTANTS ARE WE, Independent Consultants Support Group, Meeting Magic Facilitators, OED - The Organization for Entrepreneurial Development, and the Professional Facilitators Network.
